Who is Prizmu?
Prizmu—also known by their alias Fckwrs, is a Berlin-based art duo who works in mixed media, blending woodcuts, stencils, silk-screen printing, and digital techniques to bring bold ideas into both public spaces and art galleries. Their work is conceptually driven, weaving pop culture, glitch aesthetics, and poetic elements into pieces that invite reflection and conversation with global audiences.

Post- Post- Post - Concept and Focus
Prizmu's work sits at the forefront of the Post-Post-Post movement—a thoughtful reexamination of pop culture and digital aesthetics. As a founder of this approach, Prizmu blends bold color fields, geometric forms, and references to iconic characters or symbols with abstract and glitch textures, exploring complex ideas that can be playful or satirical.
Some pieces lean toward Minimalism, using paredback shapes and clean lines to create real impact. A recurring fascination with glitch art introduces digital distortions and pixelation to their art, giving it unique twist. Across their canvases and pasteup works, Prizmu combines mixed media, cutouts, and satirical imagery to highlight surreal pop elements.

The beginnings
Prizmu was founded in 2013 by two Chilean-Croatian brothers born in the 1980s. Their early path took shape at Chile's Design Faculty and Film School. In 2009 they joined the Santiago-based art collective TAV, a studio rooted in the visual art spirit of the 1970s.
In 2011, they moved to Zagreb, Croatia, to study at the Art Academy and the Faculty of Philosophy. Their first fine art exhibition followed in 2014 at Matica Hrvatska Gallery in this city. From 2016 to 2017, they traveled across 28 European cities—Prague, London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Kraków and beyond—engaging with local scenes and presenting their work in public spaces.

Berlin Connection
Prizmu's work has been shaping Berlin's visual language for over a decade. Rooted in the local scene, their pieces have appeared along Kastanienallee, Dircksenstraße, Rosenthaler Straße and Yorckstraße—streets that are a fixture in street-art walks, archives, and publications such as Street Art in Berlin and Urban Art Berlin.
